Concert Band membership is comprised of students in freshman to senior classes. No audition is required; however, a proficiency in playing a wood wind, brass or percussion instrument must be established. The purpose of this course is to give students the oppurtunity to study and perform many types of band repertoire by many different composers. It will also provide the oppurtunity to perform these works in concert performance settings. This group is a performance ensemble and is required to perform at all concerts, dress rehearsals, pep functions including, but not limited to all football games and parades. This class meets five days a week during 5th period.
